Whether it’s the husband or wife. Reminding each other to eat, rest, or take care of their health feels natural, and the same goes for encouraging each other in faith. If one skips fasting or Suhoor, it’s not the other’s responsibility to force them, but gently reminding them is an act of love. Just like we nudge our loved ones toward good habits, guiding them spiritually matters too.
That said, everyone is accountable for their own choices. If you’ve reminded someone with kindness and they still refuse, that’s on them — not you. Sometimes the best we can do is encourage, be patient, and leave the rest to Allah.
